Frequently asked questions about desalination units

How much water does a desalinator produce?

It depends on the model: the hourly production declared by the manufacturer is found on the datasheet of each desalination unit.

Can the desalinator be used in port?

It is not recommended: port water may contain hydrocarbons and dirt that damage filters and membranes. It is better to use it offshore or in clean anchorages.

How is the desalinator preserved in winter?

With a wash and membrane preservation liquid; you can find winterizing kits ready among the spare parts.
