Net hose DN 8×14 per linear metre - code: ARTA000008 - Toscogomma

DN 8×14 mesh hose by the linear meter (ARTA000008) – Toscogomma

The DN 8×14 mesh hose Toscogomma, sold per linear meter, is a tube in transparent PVC with The construction with, designed for delivery of food liquids in professional contexts. The “mesh” construction (with textile reinforcement) makes it a practical solution when a flexible and easily visually inspectable tube is desired thanks to the material's transparency.

It is suitable for applications requiring suitability for contact with food liquids according to the European Regulation no. 10/2011 for simulants A-B-C, and finds application in various sectors, including food industry, oenological, shipbuilding and naval.

Features and construction details

Hose structure

• Material: transparent PVC
• Reinforcement: embedded textile inserts (mesh structure)
• Surface: smooth

The combination of transparent PVC and (braiding) helps make the tube suitable for service and maintenance uses, maintaining good handling. The supply by meter also allows purchasing the length best suited to your system, reducing waste and simplifying replacement operations. is typical of hoses intended for delivery lines where good handling and the ability to visually check fluid flow at a glance are appreciated.

Measurement and supply

• Size: DN 8×14
• Supply: per linear meter

Linear meter sale allows you to purchase the necessary length for your system or maintenance interventions, reducing waste and simplifying management on board or in the workshop.

Suitability for food liquids

The tube is described as food and suitable for the delivery of food liquids according to Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 for simulants A-B-C. In technical terms, this reference is useful when the hose is used in lines where the fluid is intended for food use (for example in processing or transfers), in compliance with the conditions provided by the applicable regulations.

Indicated pressure

• BAR: 20

The pressure value shown is the one indicated in the existing datasheet. For a correct choice based on the system, always consider the actual usage conditions (type of fluid, temperature, fittings, bending radii, installation methods) and the manufacturer's instructions.

Typical applications

Thanks to its construction characteristics and declared suitability for food liquids, the DN 8×14 braided hose is particularly suitable in contexts where flexible and easy-to-handle lines are needed.

Food industry

Usable in operations of delivery and transfer of food liquids, when a hose compliant with Regulation (EU) 10/2011 for simulants A-B-C is required. The transparency of the PVC can be useful for visual checks during operational phases.

Oenological sector

Suitable for use in oenological where flexible hoses are used for the management of food liquids. The smooth surface and reinforced structure make it suitable for installations and interventions where a manageable hose is desired.

Shipbuilding and naval

In shipbuilding and in naval it can be chosen for technical lines where a transparent and reinforced hose is useful, for example in setups, maintenance, and restoration of pipeline sections in confined spaces, compatible with the fluid and system requirements.

Operational advantages

• Transparency: facilitates visual control of the fluid in transit and the identification of any discontinuities along the line.
• Incorporated textile reinforcement: the braided structure is designed for delivery use with greater stability compared to a non-reinforced hose.
• Smooth surface: practical solution for installations where a hose with a regular finish is desired.
• Sold by the linear meter: allows you to purchase the necessary length for systems, repairs, and maintenance, with more efficient material management.
• Multi-sector use: suitable in food, winemaking, construction site, and naval fields, according to application needs.

Usage and notes for selection

Size selection

The size DN 8×14 identifies the hose size. Before purchase, verify compatibility with the fittings and with the existing line, especially in case of replacement of a section or integration on already installed systems.

Installation and fitting

For correct assembly, pay attention to the choice of fittings and tightening methods, avoiding excessive bends and tensions along the line. In technical applications (particularly in the nautical field), an orderly installation and the use of suitable components contribute to service continuity and ease of maintenance.

Compliance and food use

The product is indicated as suitable for the delivery of food liquids according to the Regulation (EU) 10/2011 for simulants A-B-C. In case of specific uses or internal procedures (HACCP, supply specifications, etc.), it is advisable to check the available technical documentation and the intended conditions of use.
