Organizing cleaning products on board means working better, reducing clutter, and always having everything at hand during maintenance operations. The Shurhold detergent holder (code 23.888.04) is a system designed to collect and neatly manage the typical accessories for nautical cleaning, combining a bucket, a dedicated base, and storage compartments into a single practical solution.

The configuration is designed for use on deck and in work areas: the components are made of UV-resistant plastic and include useful details such as a snap-in non-slip base and a bottom grid that promotes drying of sponges and chamois. A choice recommended for those who want a single point to store detergents and accessories, keeping the work area tidier during boat cleaning.

System features and details

The Shurhold detergent holder consists of several elements designed to work together. Below are the main components and their functions, according to the system configuration.

A) UV-resistant plastic bucket

• UV resistant plastic bucket, suitable for outdoor use.
• Handle braided nylon with diameter Ø 19 mm, designed for a comfortable grip during transport.

The bucket constitutes the operational base of the system: useful for holding water and for keeping accessories together during washing and rinsing phases.

B) Special snap-in non-slip base

• Snap-in base designed to stabilize the bucket.
• Non-slip, for a safer support in work areas.
• UV resistant.
• Float.
• Contributes to protect the deck from scratches.

The base is a key element for onboard use: it helps keep the bucket in place and, thanks to the dedicated structure, reduces the risk of marks or scratches on the supporting surface.

C) Storage compartment with lid (also usable as a seat)

• Storage container integrated with cover.
• The lid can also serve as a seat.

The storage container with lid offers additional space to store small accessories and, when necessary, can be used as a support point. It is a useful solution when working in confined spaces or when you want to have support close to the work area.

D) Dedicated compartment for cleaning products

• Compartment for storing cleaning products.

The dedicated compartment helps separate detergents from other accessories, keeping the set more organized and facilitating access during maintenance operations.

E) Bottom grid for drying and storage

• Bottom grid designed to promote drying.
• Suitable for storing natural and synthetic absorbent leathers, sponges and similar accessories.

The bottom grid is designed to improve the management of wet accessories after use, promoting air circulation and more orderly storage between uses.

Applications in the nautical field

This Shurhold system is suitable for activities of polishing and cleaning and, more generally, for the boat maintenance. The modular structure allows you to create a compact workstation for recurring operations, reducing the time spent searching for products and accessories.

Where it can be useful

• On deck, during washing and rinsing, to keep bucket and accessories together.
• In the cockpit or work areas, as a collection point for sponges and cloths.
• In storage, to neatly store cleaning products.

For which activities

• Management and transport of cleaning accessories.
• Organization of detergents and small tools in a single system.
• Drying and storage of absorbent skins and sponges thanks to the bottom grid.

Practical advantages

The main advantage of this detergent compartment is the rationalization of the cleaning station: fewer scattered items and more order during use.

Why choose it

• Organization: bucket, compartments, and holders help keep accessories and products separate.
• More orderly management of wet accessories: the bottom grid promotes the drying of sponges and skins.
• Greater care of surfaces: the snap-in base helps preserve the deck from scratches.
• Outdoor use: plastic components UV resistant.
• Comfortable transport: nylon braid handle Ø 19 mm.

Use and notes

For correct and orderly use on board, it is advisable to assemble the system using the interlocking base as a bucket support, thus obtaining a stable and more protective station for the deck. The Storage box with lid can be used to store accessories that you want to keep dry or separate, while the compartment for cleaning products helps organize detergents and bottles in a dedicated way.

After use, store sponges and absorbent cloths on bottom grid can facilitate drying and keep accessories tidier between uses. In a nautical environment, where humidity is frequent, careful management of cleaning accessories helps keep the work area cleaner and more functional.
