Recommended applications

This polyester sheet is suitable for typical uses of sailing and, more generally, for onboard maneuvers where it is important to have a line that handles well by hand and offers a good grip. The non-slip finish and low-stretch core make it a consistent choice for:

• Sheets and running maneuvers on sailing boats.
• Setups and replacements of worn lines, maintaining orderly material management thanks to the coil supply.
• Uses in the field of sailing and sports where maneuverability and grip are relevant aspects.

If you are considering the rope for a specific use (type of maneuver, deck equipment, passage through blocks or stoppers), it is advisable to check the dimensional compatibility based on the 6 mm diameter and the needs of the onboard system.

Operational advantages

Grip and control during maneuvers

The surface non-slip and the finish MATT contribute to safer and more comfortable handling, especially when working quickly on deck or making frequent adjustments.

More stable response thanks to low stretch

The’low stretch twisted core is recommended when you want to limit the rope's elongation during use, improving the feeling of control in adjustments and making the maneuver's response more consistent.

Practical format for rigging and maintenance

The sale on a coil is useful for those who need to make multiple lengths, perform scheduled replacements, or keep a stock on board for quick interventions. It is also a convenient solution for shipyards and maintenance personnel who prefer to manage cutting according to operational needs.

Use and notes

General usage guidelines

• Before installation, evaluate the rope's path and contact points (fairleads, blocks, stoppers) based on the 6 mm diameter.
• For a neat result, plan the cutting and preparation of lengths directly from the bobina, according to the lengths required on board.
• In case of replacement, check the condition of the equipment on which the sheet works (worn components can affect smoothness and the overall durability of the system).

Routine maintenance

To keep the rope in good condition over time, it is good practice to perform periodic checks and remove any residues or dirt after use, especially if the sheet is used intensively. In case of obvious signs of wear, consider replacement to preserve the reliability of the onboard equipment.
