Recommended applications

The tesa masck este. blue tape is suitable for masking in outdoor environments and for applications on plaster, where a precise paint edge finish is required. In a technical context (maintenance, plant engineering, construction site), it can be used as an operational support to protect areas adjacent to the intervention zone and to precisely delimit surfaces.

Masking for painting and finishing

• Delimitation of areas to be painted to achieve extremely sharp and precise edges.
• Protection of profiles, edges, and junction areas during the application of paints or finishes.

Use on external surfaces and on plaster

• Outdoor interventions where exposure to humidity and UV rays is a factor to consider.
• Masking on plaster in restoration or maintenance work.

Use and notes

To achieve results consistent with masking requirements, it is advisable to apply the tape on clean and dry surfaces, ensuring the edge adheres well along the separation line. In the presence of delicate surfaces or special finishes, it is good practice to perform a preliminary test in a less visible area, especially if the tape is to remain applied for a long time.

Application tips

• Apply the tape without excessive tension, avoiding unnecessary folds or overlaps.
• Press carefully along the edge to improve the definition of the masking line.
• During plaster work, pay attention to the regularity of the surface to keep the line as uniform as possible.

Removal

• Remove carefully at the end of the work or as operational needs require, considering that it is expected easy removal up to 8 weeks from the application.
